Description

Otto Büttner a mechanical engineer from Dresden Germany, develops a calculator that performed the four basic calculations. This machine combined the stepping and gear wheel technology. And that makes this one a historical unique case in the development of calculators.

Büttner created a symbiose between the two different technologies. Though the machine performed without any flaw Büttner and his associate never will get this calculator into serial production.
