Description

Prolog is a fine example of an artificial intelligence language. It constructs with sets of rules an intelligent interface that can be used to manage data structures and knowledge data bases as well as to solve given problems.

The PROLOG or PROgramming en LOGique language was not designed as a programming language but instead as processing natural languages, specifically French. It was released in 1975 by Philippe Roussel. It was designed to implement a man-machine communication system in natural languages.
